		<description>Rajaji&#039;s mahabharata is the best to begin with. One should however bear in mind that it was written mainly for the kids and young adults - a mature adult may hence find some interpretations unnecessary.
For the western audience, I found the following publication (especially the first few pages) providing a very good overview of Dharma &quot;The Gita of Robert Oppenheimer&quot; &lt;cite&gt;www.amphilsoc.org/sites/default/files/Hijiya.&lt;strong&gt;pdf&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/cite&gt; . It explains Dharma in a modern, scientific backdrop.
